If you're new to Diib's RetargetBoost (or if you're curious about our newest feature), check out this FAQ.
Do I need to book an onboarding call?
Yes, definitely! Your onboarding call is necessary in order to launch your campaign. During this meeting, we’ll confirm that everything is set up correctly, confirm that your Meta pixel is installed, and set up your campaign.

What should I do before the call?
To make your RetargetBoost onboarding as smooth as possible, please complete the following steps before your call:
-
Set up your Facebook Business Manager and Ad Account
-
Add a payment method to your Meta account
-
Install your Meta pixel on your website
-
Send us three photo options for your ad (see next question)
What kind of photos should I send?
We recommend sending three photos so we can choose the best one for your ad. These should feel authentic and not "look" like an ad. Good options include:
-
A photo of your team
-
A product or service photo
-
A photo of your storefront, office, or workspace
If you don’t have all three, send what you do have. You can also include behind-the-scenes shots, customer photos (with permission), or clean branded visuals.
Here are a few examples of images our clients have used:
Do I need to install a Meta pixel?
Yes. The Meta pixel tracks your website visitors, and we can't set up your RetargetBoost without it. Don't have one set up? No worries, just click the instructions below!

How do I know if my Meta pixel is working?
Go to Meta Events Manager and check under “Data Sources.” If you see your pixel with recent pageview activity, it’s working. If not, you can follow Meta’s guide or ask us to walk you through it on the call.
What’s included with my RetargetBoost subscription?
-
One-on-one onboarding call with a Growth Expert
-
A professionally written retargeting ad
-
Custom audience setup based on your traffic
-
Automated monthly performance reports
-
Ongoing access to your ad and audience in your Meta account
Note: You control your ad spend, which is billed directly by Meta.
Can you make a new ad for me later?
RetargetBoost includes a one-time ad creation. However, if your ad isn’t performing well, let us know—we’re happy to review it and offer suggestions.
When does my campaign go live?
Great question! We’ll publish your retargeting campaign during the onboarding call, once your pixel and assets are ready.
How long does it take to see results?
Most campaigns start to show traction within a few weeks. it really depends on your website traffic and daily ad budget.
How much should I spend on ads?
We recommend starting with at least $3–5 per day, but you can always adjust as you go. Your Growth Expert will offer a suggested budget when you meet. But ad spend is on your account, you can adjust it whenever you'd like.
What kind of ROI should I expect?
That depends on your business, audience, and offer. Retargeting is usually one of the most efficient ad types, but results vary based on traffic and spend.
How will I know if someone bought because of my ad?
Meta Ads Manager includes conversion tracking. You’ll be able to see purchases or other actions attributed to your ad right there in your Meta account.
Why am I getting billed by both Diib and Meta?
Diib bills you for the RetargetBoost service (ad creation, setup, and reporting). Meta bills you separately for your ad spend through your own account.
What happens if I cancel?
We’ll stop managing or optimizing your ad, but since it lives in your Meta account, you can choose to keep it running or pause it at any time.
Do I keep my ad if I cancel?
Yep! The ad and audience setup are set up in your Meta account, so you'll always have access to it.
What if my website doesn’t get much traffic?
Retargeting works best when your site gets regular visitors. If traffic is low, check out this article for tips: https://knowledgebase.diib.com/how-do-i-get-more-traffic
