Which One Should I Connect? ## Connect the Google Analytics property that’s installed on your website. Here’s how to find it. If you see more than one Google Analytics account or property when you sync with diib, pick the one that’s installed on the website you added to diib. That’s the only one collecting data about your visitors. ### Step 1: Find the Measurement ID on your website Every Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property has a Measurement ID that starts with `G-`. To find the one your site uses: 1. Open your website in Chrome. 2. Right-click the page and choose **View page source**. 3. Press Ctrl+F (Cmd+F on a Mac) and search for `G-`. Write down the ID you find, for example `G-AB12CD34EF`. If your site adds Google Analytics through a plugin or Google Tag Manager, the ID might not show up in the page source. In that case, check the plugin’s settings or your Tag Manager container. ### Step 2: Find the matching property in Google Analytics 1. Sign in to Google Analytics. 2. Click **Admin** (the gear icon), then **Data streams**. 3. Click your website’s data stream to see its Measurement ID. Switch between your accounts and properties until you find the one with the same Measurement ID as your site. Another quick check: open **Reports** \> **Realtime**, then visit your website in another tab. The property that shows your visit is the right one. ### Step 3: Connect that property to diib When you sync Google Analytics with diib, choose the matching property from the drop-down.
