If your competitor's name is showing up under "My Keywords", here's why--and why this isn't a bad thing.
If you see a competitor’s name in your My Keywords list, it’s likely because people are searching for them in a way that relates to your business. This can happen if:
- Your site mentions the competitor’s name somewhere (like in a blog post or comparison page).
- Users searching for your competitor also find your site in related search results.
- Google associates your business with similar products, services, or industry terms.
This isn’t a bad thing! It can actually be an opportunity to analyze how people search for your competitors and find ways to attract that traffic to your own site.
