# Why Am I Getting Emails About Not Having a Clickable Phone Number When I Know I Have One?

## If you think you already have a clickable phone number, here's how to double check and make sure.

If you’ve gotten an alert from diib about not having a clickable phone number—but you’re pretty sure you already do—don’t worry. This happens sometimes, and it’s usually just because of the way your phone number is set up on your site.

The best way to double-check is to open your website on a mobile device and tap your phone number.  
If it automatically starts a call, you’re all set and can ignore the alert.

If nothing happens when you tap the number, it might not be fully clickable. A simple fix is to use this format in your site’s code:  
`<a href="tel:1234567890">123-456-7890</a>`

**Why we flag this:**  
Clickable numbers make it much easier for mobile visitors to reach out—and that can mean more leads or sales. If you *do* want people to call you, it’s worth making sure the number is mobile-friendly.

And if you don’t want your phone number to be clickable? No problem—you can safely ignore this alert.
