This article shows you how to use the social analytics feature in your dashboard and how to sync your FaceBook account.
Why You Should Sync Your Social Analytics
When you sync your business’s Facebook Page with your dashboard, we’ll be able to send you specific suggestions on how to grow your business, and send you industry trends and opportunities on how to improve your posts and user engagement. It takes less than a minute to sync!
Note
Don’t worry, syncing your profile to Diib doesn’t give us permission to post and we never share your data. You can disconnect your Page at any time, and of course you can reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.
Diib learns over time, so we’ll be able to look at your demographic and trends and remind you when to post, and let you know if you need to target different fan demographics.
Glossary
- Fan Reach. The percentage of your fans that saw your post. So if you have 1000 fans and 100 of them saw your post, your fan reach would be 10%. Try to aim for 20% or higher. We’ve added some tips below on how you can improve your fan reach and engagement, so be sure to check those out!
- Virtual Multiplier. This is the organic impressions of your posts vs shares you’ve gotten. The higher the number, the more your post has been shared, the higher your viral multiplier!
- Click Through Rate. This is the percentage of people who saw your post and clicked on it.
- Annual Growth Opportunities. This is the estimate of how much more revenue your website could contribute to your business per year. This number is based on your analytics data and the opportunities we see for your website to grow. While this isn’t 100% related to social analytics, your social analytics do play a part in how we calculate this metric, which is why it’s important to sync them to your dashboard.
How to Use This Tool

Tips and Tricks
- See when you should be posting.
Look at your Best Time to Post block. Here you’ll see when people interact with you the most and least during the week, and when the ideal time for you to post is based on the data we’ve pulled.
We keep an eye on this over time, so as you experiment with types of posts and days you’re posting, check your Diib dash and see how it’s affecting your fan reach and site traffic. We’ll also email you with opportunities we see!
- Increase your Fan Reach finding the right posting tempo.
Many business owners don’t know how often to post. The last thing you want to do is annoy your fans or followers.
Experiment with how often you post and what days and times you post, then come back to your Social Analytics and see how those posts are doing. You might get more engagement posting great content three times a week than posting generic content five days a week.
- Add captions to your video posts.
About 75% of people say they watch videos with their phone on mute, so captions are a great way to get more engagement and get people to watch for longer.
Once you start adding captions to videos, come back to your Social Analytics tab and see how they’re performing. You can experiment with video length, style, etc.
