What Are "Alerts" and Why Do They Matter?

Your "Alerts" feature in your dashboard is important, and should be checked regularly.

At Diib, we’re working in the background 24/7 to find new ways for you to rank higher in Google and improve your user experience. We check your website for 100s of issues each month and alert you if anything needs improvement, or if you’re missing out on a keyword ranking opportunity. We call these Diib Alerts, and here’s how they can help you grow your business.

When you see a Diib Alert email come through, you definitely want to check it out. There’s a reason we triggered that alert, and if it’s something to fix, doing so can really help your site and SEO.

How to Use This Tool

You’ve probably received emails from us like this one. This is a Diib Alert.

This Alert points out that you have a lot of backlinks, but they're mostly from just a few websites, which isn't ideal. It could mean that some of these backlinks might not be trustworthy or could even be spam, which is something you'll want to look into to avoid running into any issues with Google.

You can scroll to the bottom and click See All Alerts to see your full list of alerts.

Click on Fix it Myself, and it will take you into the Objective that’s attached to the Alert. If you’re a free member, this is blurred out for you, which is one of the many reasons we always suggest that you go Pro if you’re serious about growing your business.

If you scroll to the bottom of the Objective, you’ll see the tasks you need to complete. Click on continue, and then you see here are the detailed steps to complete this. There’s also usually helpful articles and/or videos attached to these that can help you understand each topic a little better if you need it.
